Highway 50 a four lane road between Kenosha and Lake Geneva.

  • Barca helped secure funding to expand Highway 31 into a four lane road
and more important sent repeated letters to constituents and held
meetings to ensure the work was done with the advice and involvement of property owners and eased their difficulties during the construction period.

  • Barca Chaired the Special Rail Services Committee that developed the
plan to extend rail services from Kenosha to Racine, Mitchell Field, and
    Milwaukee.

  • Barca developed the bills that passed to improve Wisconsin's freight
    rail system.

and other alternatives to our dependence on fossil fuels and reduce our dependence on foreign oil.

develop bio-fuels, solar, wind, hydrogen and other technologies that will create more jobs and reduce energy costs.

·        Proposing expending the tax credits available for businesses and
families who install solar, wind, and other energy producing technologies, which will help lower energy costs through reduced
consumption of natural gas.
