Education
Peter Barca believes in high quality affordable
education. Consequently, he would look at programs to improve education
across the board. Beginning with looking at the successes within Head
Start, he would determine as to what elements to expand and the
possibility of an Early Start Program. In middle school, Peter would
focus his efforts on addressing the drop out rate through intervention
programs that might include mentoring, personal education planning,
violence assessments, and parental involvement. Finally, Peter would
look at offering more college opportunities to students of middle and
low income families.
