May 10, 2010 – Final major economic development proposals are signed into law. The Legislative Fiscal Bureau has identified over 50 initiatives aimed at job creation in Wisconsin.

October 26, 2009 – Representative Barca selected to head the Partnership for a Stronger Economy, a statewide economic development and job creation task force.

June 29, 2009 – Wisconsin budget passes on time for the first time in over 30 years.

February 19, 2009 Representative Barca chairs first hearing as Co-Chairman of the Joint Legislative Audit Committee. The Committee investigated the Wisconsin Shares program.

January 10, 2009 – Representative Barca heads first caucus meeting after being elected Caucus Chairman by his colleagues.
